Do you feel like going out for breakfast this morning? Here are some of our picks for the best coffee shops and full breakfast restaurants at Lake Chapala.
In Ajijic, try the newly-opened cafe/gallery La Peña de Santos Rico on Constitución. Very good Eggs Benedict plus a wide selection of traditional Mexican breakfast specialties and wonderful coffees, including expresso, cappucinos and lattes. Open for lunch as well.
If you want something special, Sunday Brunch at Hacienda del Lago is superb. 250 pesos per person for 6 courses, coffee, juice and a mimosa. Extra mimosas are 25 pesos.
